About STARGATE
Critical European infrastructure, from banks to smart grids, is becoming more connected and more demanding.
These systems can only perform as well as the time behind them.
The STARGATE project meets that need, providing authenticated, resilient time synchronisation developed and built in Europe.
European self-reliance

Cutting-edge security and trustOur purpose
Essential infrastructure in sectors like telecommunications, energy, finance, aerospace, and data centers depends on precise, trustworthy timing. STARGATE provides European organisations and companies with an independent, authenticated timing source that cannot be compromised by spoofing or jamming. By leveraging Galileo’s OSNMA authentication, we deliver timing that is both technically robust and strategically autonomous.

Standards & assurance
OSNMA authentication
Galileo OSNMA (Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) cryptographic signal verification provides navigation message authentication, reducing the risk of data tampering and supporting trusted timing decisions.
EN 16605:2024 certified
Delivering trusted, resilient, and verified time that strengthens Europe’s digital sovereignty and supports its most vital systems. Tested and validated by an independent certification lab, GuideGNSS.
IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP)
Building block for integration supporting White Rabbit PTP, IEEE 1588 PTP synchronisation standards, and legacy timing signals such as IRIG-B and 10 MHz/1PPS.
